New Giants QB Daniel Jones was a guy who got the headlines after Sunday's action as he took over for two-time Super Bowl champion and future Hall of Famer (yep, I said it) Eli Manning and delivered pretty well.
How well? He completed 23 of 36 passes for 336 yards and a pair of TDs ... and also had four carries for 28 yards and two more TDs in a 32-31 win over the Bucs. Only four QBs threw for more yards this week and four TDs appears to be tied for the best mark of the week. However, it's the W in New York that gets him the spotlight for that team, especially in a game largely without Saquon Barkley who now may be dealing with injuries in his sophomore season. Jones' RCs from this year's releases should be getting even more attention now -- and they were already being watched after he was drafted sixth-overall out of Duke.

Keep reading for more guys who generated some buzz on the field this week.
-- Russell Wilson, QB, Seahawks The top passer this week and a share of the top scorer (TDs rushing and passing) title belong to this guy, who threw for 406 yards and two TDs while also rushing for 51 yards and two more TDs in a loss to the Saints. Wilson is averaging 300 passing yards a game this season and, believe it or not, that yardage mark isn't the best of his career. It is just his second time over 400. His RCs and first autos from 2012 may not have as much heat as they did at times in the past but they should be worth a look. If you can find bargains, they could be good long-term holds. At this point in his career, he compared favorably to Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Dan Marino, Brett Favre, Jim Kelly and Fran Tarkenton.
---
-- Mark Ingram II, RB, Ravens Veterans on new teams can make for some awkward collecting options as new fans probably want Rookie Cards but have to stomach their new player's old team. Then, of course, that could also spark new interest in his newer cards that don't always carry much value in today's heavily saturated landscape because there's plenty to choose from. In the case of this guy, a game like what he had on Sunday should help change things. Ingram was one of just five 100-yard rushers on Sunday with 16 carries for 103 yards and a league-high three TDs in a 33-28 loss to Kansas City -- a result that probably surprised some as the spotlight was probably more on the QBs -- Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson -- than a guy whose RCs was way back in 2011. He's cheap pick-up with potential, unlike the QBs. They pricey.
---
-- Kyle Allen, QB, Panthers There was no fall-off as this guy stepped in for Cam Newton and completed 19 of 26 passes for 261 yards and four TDs in a 38-20 win over the Cardinals. He was undrafted and played in two games last season but has a ton of autographed cards you might not have seen. Why? Well, of his 70-plus autos a good chunk of them are from way back in 2014 when he was part of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The rest are from a few release last year -- Absolute, Elite Draft, Panini, Contenders Draft, Unparalleled and Leaf Draft. His NFL uni autos are a definite small part of that mix -- most are college unis but all are of a little more interest today.
---
-- Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers This first-rounder from back in 2013 may not have as much heat as he did then -- it's debatable as his team has had ups and downs and he has, too. His start this season has been strong -- he's averaged 134 yards a game so far after a 13-catch Sunday good for 183 yards and two TDs. His worst game so far? A 98-yard day. He's on pace for a career year so far and he's had three 1,000-yard seasons in the past.
---
-- Mike Evans, WR, Bucs It seems like it's been a long time since this guy's cardboard first arrived -- he was the seventh pick in the 2014 NFL Draft -- and he had a big Sunday. He caught eight passes for 190 yards and three TDs in a 32-31 loss to the Giants. That isn't a career-high for yardage -- he had a 209-yard game as a rookie -- but it's a sign that he could still be a big deal on cardboard and could be overlooked. He's never not had a 1,000-yard season as a pro. His cards are probably cheap in some instances so bargain-hunting could be fun here if he puts up a career year.
---
-- Cooper Kupp, WR, Rams Want an overlooked guy to consider grabbing cards of here and there? It might be this guy, who caught 11 of 12 passes sent his way for 102 yards and two TDs in the Sunday-night game, a 20-13 win over the Browns. They were his first TDs of the year but he had 120 yards last week so he looks like he's back from injury that prevented him from joining his teammates in the Super Bowl last year. He was a third-r0und pick in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Eastern Washington and has 13 TDs in 26 games. He appears to be on pace for a career year as he's more than halfway to his reception total of last year (40 in eight games).
---
-- Jeff Wilson Jr., RB, 49ers Remember when I noted this guy was a darkhorse pick with Rookie Cards in just one place, 2019 Panini Unparalleled, when he scored a pair of touchdowns last week on just 10 carries? Well, he one-upped himself on Sunday against the Steelers with just eight carries for 18 yards but two more TDs. Nothing has changed on his card front.
