Started strong, ended with the win.

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp put on a show in the first half of things on Sunday against the Bengals but settled down after that in a 24-10 win. Ultimately the only numbers that matter are the final ones -- seven catches for 220 yards and a TD. At the half, he looked like he might be pushing the NFL's single-game receiving record but Kupp didn't even come close to the team record, either, as both are 336 yards set by Willie "Flipper" Anderson with 336 yards back in 1989.

Kupp is among the loaded 2017 rookie crop so chasing him in wax form might not be that easy now but there's a chance he's tucked away in boxes where people landed the other guys and let the rest sit. An injury prevented him from Super Bowl time last year but he's averaging 99 yards a game this season and could set career-highs for TDs and yardage with a solid showing in his next game.

Keep reading for more guys who generated some buzz on the field this week.

-- Aaron Jones, RB, Packers He's been a top guy this season and you should remember seeing him right here before, but this week it was because he had seven catches for 159 yards and two TDs. His receiving stats are already the best of his carrier, while his rushing TDs are already a career-high at eight and the yardage will be there next month. He's also among the 2017 rookies but he's a cheap pick-up compared to the future Hall of Famer throwing to him.

---

-- Daniel Jones, QB, Giants His team didn't win and he didn't have the best yardage day of all the QBs in the league but his four TDs did top everybody else, helping justify some of the hype for this first-r0under this season. He came up a few yards short of his best yards game but otherwise the stats are there. Grabbing his RCs from this year on the cheap side seem like a wise move if you're buying to sell, though right now might be peak so far.

---

-- Mike Evans, WR, Bucs Without Kupp's monster day, this guy would have had the "monster" tag applied to him as he caught 11 of 12 passes for 198 yards and two TDs in a 27-23 loss to the Titans. His Rookie Cards are way back in 2014 wax and could be heavily overlooked given that time since then. His stats are solid on a team that's had its issues.

---

-- David Montgomery, RB, Bears This rookie led the NFL with 135 rushing yards on 27 carries and added a touchdown on a day where the final result was a last-second bummer. The TD was his third of the year but this was his first 100-yard game. He's had three games of 50-plus yards but only had 20 or more carries once before. Could there be growing potential for this third-rounder out of Iowa State?

---

-- Tevin Coleman, RB, 49ers He had just 11 carries but he made them count with 105 yards rushing and three TDs in a 51-13 rout of the Panthers. His Rookie Cards come from back in 2015 so there could be some bargains found here. He's had a pretty solid season.
