It's no surprise to see a New Orleans Saints player with a gaudy stat line but this time it's a dominating game from a guy who's been a dominator all year.
Saints WR Michael Thomas dialed up a big night in a win over the previously unbeaten Los Angeles Rams with 12 catches for 211 yards and a touchdown that included a "call"afterward. (That was likely to the league office to see how big his fine would be for using a prop on the field, especially if it wasn't the league-approved brand of phone he had hidden under the goalpost.)
This former Ohio State star is all over cardboard with more than 2,500 different cards since his arrival in 2016 NFL boxes and he's got more than 800 different autographed cards for fans to chase, too. >> Check out his autos on eBay The game was his biggest of the year and just his third 100-yard game Despite that, he's fourth in the NFL with 880 yards this season and is second in receptions. With a lot of toys in the Drew Brees-led arsenal, Thomas might be overlooked on his own team to a degree when it comes to cardboard but he shouldn't be.

Keep reading for more guys who generated some buzz on the field this week.
-- Tevin Coleman There were just two 100-yard rushers this week -- Melvin Gordon and James Conner -- and they've been seen here a few times this season. This member of the 2015 rookie class almost got there with 13 carries for 88 yards but was more impressive catching the ball with five receptions for 68 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 38-14 win over Washington. For the year he's got just two rushing touchdowns but has a career-high receiving with four -- an uptick that might make some of his affordable cards more volatile. The card you see above? It went for about $110 not long ago.

-- Christian McCaffrey This former Stanford star has been a yardage machine this season on both the ground and in the air this season but he's got just five TDs this season. He added two rushing TDs yesterday against the Bucs and that ups his total to three in the last two weeks. The Panthers have won three straight and are behind only the Saints in the standings right now and if the team continues to roll there could be some attention paid to a few of its offensive standouts. While QB Cam Newton is well-established, there could be bargains out there for McCaffrey, whose Rookie Cards and debut autos can be found in 2017 boxes.

-- Alvin Kamara There could always be a Saint (or two) on this list but Kamara also had a day that couldn't be ignored with 19 carries for 82 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and four catches for 34 yards and a score against the Rams. This former Tennessee star whose Rookie Cards arrived last year has nine rushing TDs and three receiving this season. His nine are tied for second with James Conner behind only Todd Gurley this season and his total is third behind Gurley and Kareem Hunt. He's a dominator and his team seems like it's destined to put on a show all season long -- those are both good things for those holding onto his cards.

-- Maurice Harris This Washington WR put up a career game on Sunday with 10 catches for 124 yards. He didn't get into the end zone but to get an idea of how strong this day was there's this ... he had just 230 yards in his three-year NFL career before Sunday. This former California Golden Bears star went un-drafted in 2016 and appears on fewer than 20 football cards -- all from just two products and Panini Instant. His only autos are from 2016 SAGE HIT and his only NFL cardboard in packs is in 2018 Score where he's showcased as part of the All-Hands Team insert set. Is there money to be made here? Maybe, maybe not, but it's kind of fun to entertain the idea of collecting every card a guy has after a strong game. He has just a single 1/1 card -- from Instant -- and it's still available on the site right now. Somebody could truly collect 'em all.

-- Patrick Mahomes II If you don't know who he is, well, welcome back to the planet. A few QBs had big days but when it comes to cardboard it's this guy who appears to be MVP bound and could be a record-breaker by season's end. He threw three more TDs on Sunday and has 29 this season already. (Tom Brady had 32 last season when he won the MVP.) Mahomes will join the 3,000-yard club in his next game and his Rookie Cards and autographs from last season will remain some of the hottest in the hobby ... so hunt carefully. Prices are high now but there is still potential between now and the end of the year if everything goes well.
