Goldin Auctions is bringing in some star power to auction some Pokémon 1st Edition cards in an interactive way.
Logan Paul and auction house founder Ken Goldin will do a box break of the original series of U.S.-made cards on Feb. 27 live on YouTube where Paul, an entrepreneur and Pokémon collector, has 22.8 million subscribers. Packs are presently being auctioned -- with $10,000 opening bids on each one -- beginning today and running until Feb. 11.
Besides chasing Charizard, Blastoise, Chansey and Hitmonchan from the packs -- key cards pulled will be graded by PSA live during the stream -- each auction winner will receive one of 44 exclusive Paul non-fungible token digital art cards as you see above.
“I am thrilled to partner with Goldin for the biggest Pokémon unboxing ever,” Paul said in a prepared statement. “This is a newfound obsession of mine and I am so excited to share it with other enthusiasts around the world.”

Blowout Cards may not catch 'em all ... but we're trying.
This Pokémon 1st Edition booster box sold for $360,000 via Heritage Auctions on Thursday night -- a mark that includes the buyer's premium and set a new record sale. That topped a $198,000 mark (also via Heritage) in September.
Our 36-pack box includes 396 untouched cards that could carry potential for perfect Gem Mint 10 copies of everything, including the rare Charizard card that has generated headlines on its own with some six-figure sales on its own in advance of the 25th anniversary of the game's arrival in the United States next February.

It's the holy grail of gaming ... and it's up for grabs.
BlowoutCards.com is the owner of a PSA 10 grade Pokémon 1st Edition set that previously generated headlines from around the world -- not just the collecting world -- when it previously sold for six figures little over a year ago. Now, it's back on the market with the biggest cards in the mix ... all in PSA's top grade.
The full set of 102 cards, which can be seen in a gallery below, is presently listed on eBay. It has a Buy-It-Now price of $1,000,000.01 -- and serious offers are also being fielded as it's on the market in advance of the 25th anniversary of the game's arrival in the United States next February.

A perfect PSA 10 set of 1999 Pokemon 1st Edition cards dominated on the auction block this weekend, ending with a final gavel price that might shock those who don't know the power of Charizard.
It racked up a dozen bids after its $25,000 opener at Goldin Auctions and when the final gavel went down the price was at $100,655.
Check out a gallery of all of the cards after the jump.
