Topps' new program creating real baseball cards in real time documenting the highlights of the here and now have caught on with some collectors as this season has begun with some historic starts and impressive debuts for MLB rookies.

It's 2016 Topps Now and the cards are only available for a 24-hour window. After that, the population reports are released and the next day's cards are unveiled -- all in made-to-order, real-time fashion.

Topps' highest-end baseball product, 2015 Topps Dynasty, arrives on Wednesday with just one autographed patch card or cut sig per pack and every card limited in numbering but unlimited in potential appeal for collectors.

Plus, there are autographs of people you just wouldn't expect inside these packs -- something we've noted previously right here.

If you've done some cardboard hunting at the retail aisle, you may have passed right by the home of some of the hottest baseball cards available in stores like Target.

The card above? It's a 2015 Topps Chrome Update Black Refractor of reigning National League Rookie of the Year Kris Bryant and it was only found in a 2015 Topps Update Mega Box -- a retail box with five Update packs and two exclusive Chrome Update packs inside.

It's serial-numbered to 99 copies and sold for $100 on eBay. Because there are only two Chrome packs per box, these have been selling quite well because key guys aren't simple every-box pulls even for their base cards. (You can find boxes and cases at Blowout right here, though.)
