What's buzz-worthy: Panini America's highly collected high-end brand returns with an array of options for its 10th anniversary that includes booklets, on-card rookie patch autos and even a nod waaaaayyy back to 2011. (And all the way back to 2006, too.)

The NFL's rookie class of 2016 is mostly in the offseason now but that doesn't mean their action when it comes to cardboard is over.

In fact, 13 top guys have been busy signing for Panini America the last two days during the "NFLPA Rookie Closeout" as part of the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl's festivities. The rookies on hand for the event are catching up on signing for upcoming brands such as 2016 National Treasures, Flawless, Encased and Plates & Patches as well as recently released brands like Donruss Optic.

Arrives: Nov. 30
Box basics: Six autographs or memorabilia cards per eight-card box (four boxes per case)

What's buzz-worthy: "The ultra high-end National Treasures Collegiate football returns in 2016 featuring short-printed, serial-numbered cards of rookies, superstars and legends from their college days with a vast array of premium memorabilia," according to Panini. Overall, it doesn't look like the formula has changed much though there are some new features.

This one is kind of a big deal.

Panini America teased a big inclusion in the upcoming 2015 Panini National Treasures football card set on Tuesday and it's the National Treasures Treasure Chest card.

Maybe it's just the National Pizza Day buzz at work here -- or maybe some of those Papa John's commercials during NFL games -- but Buzz has to wonder what kind of demand there might be for a Peyton Manning & John Schnatter dual autograph card.

Maybe it's just a cheesy idea, but Buzz knows it wouldn't sell for pocket change if we found Manning and the world's most-famous pizza-selling football fan on a National Treasures card from Panini America. Buzz has imagined it above. Heck, maybe he'd be game for some kind of Ball State (where he went to school) or a Louisville college card, too? (The Cardinals play at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.)

It would be a fun, memorable and valuable football card if it became a reality -- one that might dwarf any other Manning autograph out there, too, simply because it's something unique. Maybe J.J. Watt, Joe Montana and other NFL players who have had pizza ties could get in on the action, too?

"The Gunslinger" Brett Favre was among the players named to this year's Hall of Fame class on Saturday night, meaning he'll be forever enshrined in Canton later this year.

One card pulled in recent days by a collector is this 2015 Panini National Treasures College Notable Nicknames card -- one of only a few cards showing him at Southern Mississippi that's signed and one of even fewer that's signed and inscribed. (And it's pricey.)

Buzz thinks this is close to a perfect piece of cardboard and wonders what you think ... grade this card.

We should all know by now how good Stephen Curry is by his play on the basketball court.

The Dallas Cowboys' QB put up impressive numbers in a game that was never even close -- but they still count.

Kellen Moore threw for 435 yards and three touchdowns (also throwing two picks and losing a fumble) in a 34-23 loss to Washington on Sunday, marking the end of a dismal season for the Cowboys and his last chance to make an impression on collectors before Tony Romo returns from injury next season. He ends the year with just four TDs and six picks since he only played in two other games this season -- all losses.

Will a game like this breath some long-term life into his 2012 Rookie Cards? Probably not, but it's a reminder that a good game can bring the spotlight to anyone in any week in the NFL -- so he gets the nod here.

What's buzz-worthy: Panini America improves upon the impressiveness of Treasure Chest cards seen in its past NT hockey release with 24-piece memorabilia and 12-autograph booklet cards in this year's edition. These also will have patch and 1/1 NFL Shield versions. Also in this one will be autograph and memorabilia sets for America's Team, the Dallas Cowboys, and The Steel Curtain Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hobby box basics: Eight autograph or memorabilia cards with one being a booklet.

What's buzz-worthy: National Treasures' third edition for baseball will up the ante on game-used memorabilia cards with oversized jumbo swatches for pieces not normally found in cards. Among them? Stirrup socks. Sock cards will be limited to five copies or less and showcase players such as Lou Gehrig, Bob Feller, Elson Howard, Gabby Hartnett, Herb Pennock, Mike Schmidt and Pete Rose. Also to be found? Fielding gloves, batting gloves and sweatband cards. This will include current and past stars such as Kris Bryant, Byron Buxton, Kyle Schwarber, Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, Tony Gwynn, Mike Schmidt and Willie Stargell, according to the company.
