Sports Illustrated is paying tribute to Peyton Manning ... and you can collect them all.

The 104-page Sports Illustrated Peyton Manning Retirement Tribute Issue examines the life of the future Hall of Famer who retired after 18 seasons in the NFL on Monday, and it can be found with covers for all three of his stops as a nationally known player. There's one cover for the University of Tennessee Vols, one for the Indianapolis Colts and one for his time with the Denver Broncos.

First Peyton Manning, now Brock Osweiler.

The Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos have lost their second quarterback this week as Osweiler will be joining the Houston Texans, according to the NFL Network. It will be a four-year deal for $72 million -- a risk the Broncos apparently weren't willing to take.

Of all the moves agreed to and to come as a new season officially begins today, this and perhaps the DeMarco Murray trade have some hobby potential. Many others, though, don't figure to matter much on cardboard. Heck, some of the big names signing with new teams -- Malik Jackson, for example -- don't even have cards.

Peyton Manning mentioned plenty of legends during his 11-minute retirement speech Monday in Denver, but only one name mentioned had as much gravitas as Manning's place in the game today.

That name was Johnny Unitas and Manning recalled meeting the Hall of Famer and Colts icon during his rookie season after a 38-31 loss back on Nov. 29, 1998.

"It was the first time that the Colts had returned to Baltimore since they had moved back in 1984," Manning remembered. "We didn’t exactly get a warm reception that day. The fans were screaming at me, and I kept thinking, 'Hey, I was only 8-years-old then, get off of my back.'

"I had met him once before, but when the game was over I had the chance to shake Johnny Unitas’ hand. He told me, 'Peyton, you stay at it. I’m pulling for you.' Well, I have stayed at it. I’ve stayed at it for 18 years and I hope that old No. 19 is up there with his flat top and maybe his black high-tops on and I hope he knows that I have stayed at it and maybe he’s even a little proud of me.

"There is just something about 18 years. Eighteen is a good number, and today I retire from pro football."

It was his last rodeo after all.

Peyton Manning's 18-year NFL career that includes five MVP awards, two Super Bowl rings and more touchdowns and passing yards than any other quarterback in history comes to an end on Monday in Denver when he's expected to announce his retirement.

Manning is among the most-available and most-collectable quarterbacks in the history of the game -- he's also one of the most-valuable ones, too. Ray Hamilton is a member of the Washington Redskins, but for the last few weeks he joined the Panini America team as part of the NFLPA Externship Program.

He's one of 26 players working for various companies as part of the program but the only one who joined Panini. As part of the gig he recently starred in an episode of Panini Unwrapped with Tracy Hackler.

Topps' next-to-last NFL release arrived in hobby shops yesterday packing a ton of high-end potential inside.

The brand is 2015 Topps Supreme and these football cards are part of a hit-per-pack product that includes some big names and, of course, plenty of rookies. Each box contains just four cards, but in a case (16 boxes) the breakdown includes four auto Relics, three rookie autos, one multi-auto card and a combination of Relics and hits in the remainder.

One of Topps' final NFL releases officially arrived in hobby shops around the country last week packing just two autographed cards per box but plenty of potential.

It's the 2015 Topps Strata football card set, and each 12-box case will include a selection of autographs and memorabilia cards all with acetate stock and on-card autographs. There is one standard auto and one auto Relic per box.
