The National Sports Collectors Convention is just getting going and for those not at the show there will be plenty to see here and elsewhere online to get a glimpse at all of the action.

Buzz wants you to get in on the action from afar by offering up this 2016 Topps Tribute autograph of Hall of Famer (and NSCC signer) Frank Thomas that was recently pulled in a Buzz Break.

Today's the day that Panini America's first NASCAR product arrives in the form of 2016 Panini Prizm, and one of the biggest newcomers in that set is Chase Elliott, who's the leading candidate for the Sprint Cup Rookie of the Year award.

Today's also the day for the opening of the National Sports Collectors Convention in Atlantic City, N.J., too.

And how do those two things cross paths? Elliott will be one of the guests at Panini's VIP Party on Saturday night -- he's the first guest confirmed by the company.

The 37th National Sports Collectors Convention is nearly here and, while Atlantic City, N.J., will be the center of the collecting universe, we have to note that the BlowoutCards.com booth (No. 1,220) will be the epicenter of the show at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Why?

Well, some of those boxes -- and cases -- in our 18 pallets of stuff out on the show floor are part of the largest Blowout giveaways yet in our history at the show. (And show veterans should already know how big they've been in the past ... this time we're stealing the show.)

Details are still to come for the Beckett Covers card set at this year's National Sports Collectors Convention that kicks off a week from today in Atlantic City, N.J., but BlowoutCards.com will have things covered in a deluxe way for those attempting to collect 'em all.

The NBA's biggest offseason signing will get a part of the spotlight at the National Sports Collectors Convention beginning next week in Atlantic City, N.J.

More than 450 lots of memorabilia from the collection of a former Alabama Crimson Tide and Oakland Raiders great are headed into collectors' hands soon as they are now on the auction block.

Trophies, game-used memorabilia and more from the collection of Ken Stabler, who will be posthumously inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 6, are up for grabs after his family decided to part with them. "Snake" died in July 2015 after a brief battle with colon cancer.

"In honoring Ken Stabler’s requests, his family has chosen to make items from his personal career collection available to the fans of Mr. Stabler’s career through Pristine Auction," read a release from the Phoenix-based company. "It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity ... to obtain a piece of sports memorabilia owned by legendary Oakland Raiders quarterback and 2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Ken Stabler."

Upper Deck has remembered the late co-founder of the National Sports Collectors Convention with a memorabilia card that will be in limited supply at the upcoming show on Aug. 3-7 in Atlantic City, N.J.

It's a Piece of History memorabilia card for Mike Berkus, who lost a brief cancer battle in November. He was 69.

Topps is bringing Bowman promo cards to The National.

The company revealed on Tuesday its plans for the show set for Aug. 3-7 in Atlantic City, N.J., and its wrapper redemption will include a prism foil Bowman Chrome set that has 50 players -- a mix of past, present and future players that includes Kris Bryant, Bryce Harper, Hank Aaron, Mike Trout, Yoan Moncada and Alex Bregman.

And there will be autographs to be found, too.

This year's Panini VIP party at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Atlantic City, N.J., will have a Super twist -- as in SuperVIPs that get plenty of extras -- but BlowoutCards.com wants to help others get in on the action without heading to the coast.

Details have not yet been revealed for the party, but only a handful of SuperVIP tickets will be available.

Each SuperVIP will get 800 silver wrapper redemption packs. They will get double the Gold VIP packs, too, a number that remains elusive (but it will be impressive). They will get two VIP Black Boxes. The new greats and the past greats are both part of the forthcoming Panini America promo card packs that will be available at this year's National Sports Collectors Convention.

On-card autographs from this year's rookie class and the 2014 Pro Football Hall of Fame induction class will be stamped and included in the wrapper redemption packs, according to a company announcement released on Thursday.
