What happens when a cult classic hits cardboard for the first time, its boxes show signs of over-delivering on some dazzling sketch cards and other big hits, and its fan base is rabid for all of it like it's one big Szechuan Sauce pack from McDonald's? (Wait, what? ... Fans of the show know.)
It means red-hot boxes, scorching cases and even blistering binders for Cryptozoic's newest release.
It's 2018 Rick and Morty Season 1 and it's a cardboard phenom that's as out there as the possibilities in the Adult Swim franchise's forays into, well, just about everything.

There's no word on whether there's a McDonald's Szechuan sauce tie-in, but fans of Rick and Morty will have plenty to salivate over with the upcoming release from Cryptozoic.
Set to arrive later this year (June as of now) will be Rick and Morty Season 1 trading cards and they'll include autographs from some of the zany animated series' notable voices as well as sketch cards and plenty more to represent the Adult Swim series.
