Remember yesterday when I mentioned finding a little something something while waiting in the Topps redemption line at the National Sports Collectors Convention?
This is that.
The Steiner Auctions booth near Topps is one that was right alongside the redemption line as it wrapped around the booth on my day of working the lines at the show. Steiner had a simple mystery bag that delivered far more than I had expected it would on Thursday. The signage seems simple enough -- and it is -- a Hall of Famer autograph of some type in an envelope for $15.
But why did I say bag?

There aren't any pinstripes, but it's the first.
It's the New York Yankees jersey that Miguel Andújar wore for his MLB debut and it's on the market via Steiner Auctions for the next four days where it could command some serious cash.
So far?

Aaron Judge owned The Big Apple this summer -- and the hobby, too -- and next week he could own at least one and maybe two awards.
And not long after that, somebody out there can own a historic piece of his memorabilia.
It's the jersey he wore for his record-setting 52nd home run this season -- a new MLB rookie mark topping the 49 of Mark McGwire back in 1987 -- and it's a key piece in Steiner Auctions current sale that ends in nine days.

Steiner Auctions has a legendary piece coming in its next sale.
It's Lou Gehrig's 1925 New York Yankees contract -- his first full season -- and it's hitting the open market next month.
How much might it go for? Well, there was a recent auction of a previous contract that could set the stage for this one.

Aaron Judge owns The Big Apple this summer -- and the hobby, too -- and now somebody can own a truly historic piece of his memorabilia.
It's the jersey he wore for his MLB debut and his first career home run, and it's a key piece in Steiner Auctions' Mid-summer Classic auction running for the next 30 days.
When's an NBA game program different? Steiner Auctions knows ...

This probably looks like many other NBA game programs from the late 1970s and early 1980s but it's very different than other simple pieces of memorabilia picked up at a game from the past.
It's from a Washington Bullets game -- the cover showcases the visiting team in this case -- played on Oct. 26, 1984, and it's on the block now via Steiner Auctions.
Why?

More than 300 items from the collection of New York Yankees great Don Larsen are on the auction block via Steiner Sports but they're not all glorious tributes to the man who pitched a perfect game in the World Series.
Some include some real talk -- like this letter to Larsen from former Kansas City Athletics General Manager Frank Lane.
Larsen, of course, went on to pitch into the 1967 season before retiring at age 37.
