Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The current Goldin Auctions sale includes a number of legendary pieces for Michael Jordan up for grabs, but right now it's a different No. 23 who might be re-writing the record books for some NBA cardboard soon and could become a million-dollar sports card. Early bidding action makes that something in the realm of possibility so far on this LeBron James piece. There were only 23 RPAs made and signed in this landmark release.

Why it’s Buzz-worthy: This brand is loaded with impressive cardboard and some crazy patches but this one comes with a little extra included -- as you can see that's a PSA/DNA authentication sticker for the jersey where this patch came from. That notes that this jersey was signed with a game-used 2011 inscription -- something you'll know from just this swatch but not any of the other 24 that exist. A simple and fun item. Once again, the Bowman Draft rainbow is colorful -- and pricey.

Topps' recently released 2016 Bowman Draft baseball card set which is the first look at MLB cardboard for future stars such as No. 1 draft pick Mickey Moniak.

Rarities for guys like him? Well, they're in demand. One of his five Red Wave Refractors has sold for $2,327, which isn't too shabby considering the price of the pack it came in.
