Dodger Blue is just one of the parallel colors for Manny Machado's first baseball cards as a member of his new team and almost all of his cards will come with blue-ink autographs, too.
Thanks to Topps Now.
Topps revealed the rainbow of six autos atop Machado's standard card as part of a huge 13-card day as the company's real-time baseball card program returns from the All-Star Break.

There was just one event on the MLB calendar on Monday and Bryce Harper stole the show -- and Topps Now has the baseball cards to reflect that.
This year's MLB All-Star Home Run Derby champ will be sitting down to sign a rainbow of autographs showing his victory, while four other players from that event will have their used socks make their way into memorabilia cards reflecting the exhibition.

As the clock counts down to the MLB All-Star break, the countdown clock ticks for a number of Topps Now All-Star offerings, too.
They come with and without autographs on the set side and they come with a bonus offer for the set for those in the MLB All-Star Home Run Derby -- and they're all available now for a limited time initially only via Topps.com.
There are eight set options for the MLB All-Star Game's participants alone with a nine-card American League set, an eight-card National League set, a 25-card NL reserves set and a 24-card AL reserves set. The starters are $29.99 a pop, while the reserves are $59.99. There are autographed versions of all sets (one auto per set) with prices from $99.99 to $199.99 due to the rosters of guaranteed signers seeded into them.

A called shot leads to a baseball card.
That's exactly what has happened -- in the same day -- in the case of Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies after his walk-off home run in the 11th inning of yesterday's game at SunTrust Park -- a longball that actually ended the game early this morning.
"It's time to go long now," he said to a teammate before he did just that.
Earlier today, Topps revealed the Topps Now card to document it all, complete with autographs to come for those who take the plunge with the celebration-focused card that has photos on the front and back and will only be available for 24 hours.

Question: When's the last time a New York Yankees rookie arrived with barely any baseball cards? (Has it ever happened? Can that really happen these days?)
Answer: This year -- and that rookie is Jonathan Loaisiga.
The 23-year-old made his MLB debut and got his first win on Friday night, going five innings and striking out six. He only walked four and allowed just three hits against Tampa Bay -- and he almost had as many strikeouts as he does baseball cards.
Shohei Ohtani put on two shows Sunday -- on cards and field

Shohei Ohtani is off to a red-hot start in his first month as a major-leaguer and there were two ways to see it on Sunday.
One was on the mound where he followed a week of notable home runs with a stymying performance that flirted with perfection, while the other was on eBay where one of his rarer and most in-demand baseball cards carried just as much heat.
The card is his red-ink auto from 2018 Topps Heritage and this particular copy was pulled by fellow big-leaguer and collector Pat Neshek, who sold it on eBay Sunday night for $6,101 after 114 bids. Ohtani made his in-pack MLB debut there with one unsigned short-printed card with two autographs, a blue-ink card and this one, limited to just 69 copies.
But on the field is where Ohtani shined once again.

He's had a long road to where he is today, but after a big game on Tuesday night a few more people might know his name.
He's San Diego Padres rookie third baseman Christian Villanueva and he hit three home runs Tuesday night in Denver. Why might the collecting focus be of added interest for a 27-year-old rookie?
Because he doesn't have that much cardboard at all.

Major League Baseball is a global game -- and Topps knows it with two versions of Shohei Ohtani's first Topps Now baseball card.
The card is one one 15 available today and it's got one in English and one with kanji to commemorate his MLB debut Thursday in Oakland. He recorded a hit in his first big-league at-bat and that's the play captured on both cards.
The cards will only initially be available via Topps for 24 hours and will be printed to order after that ordering window closes. He previously set a new sales record for the real-time card platform and this one could spark another.

Whether it was a surprise or not, the deal is done -- and now the wait begins for cardboard.
Former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut on Sunday night at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in Philadelphia. After the main event, the first women's Royal Rumble match, Rousey marched to the ring wearing a new "Rowdy" Roddy Piper-inspired shirt and a coat given to her by the late WWE icon's son to make it known she's headed to WrestleMania.
"This is my life now," Rousey told ESPN. "First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt. When I first met with Triple H, I told him, 'There are other things I can do with my time that'll make way more money, but I won't enjoy nearly as much.'"
When it comes to cards, Rousey has been among the most-popular female athletes out there and her autographs are among the most sought-after in UFC, despite her last match being back in 2016. The wait for her new WWE cards, may not be long, though, thanks to one detail seen on Sunday.

Two of the new members of the Baseball Hall of Fame voted in on Wednesday are signing cards for Topps' real-time card program and two others voted in via the Modern Era committee will be inking up, too.
Jim Thome, Chipper Jones, Jack Morris and Alan Trammell also will all have standard cards printed to order after a 24-hour window.

A big event for the WWE to kickstart its march to WrestleMania has spawned the first 2018 Topps Now WWE cards of the year after the 25th Anniversary of Raw last night in New York.
Four cards will start things off and are up for grabs for the next 24 hours in advance of this weekend's Royal Rumble pay-per-view, which will likely see some additional returns of past greats just like last night's nostalgia-filled special -- and some additional cardboard next week.
