If you don't know the name Steve Gleason, you're probably not alone -- but plenty more people will know his story soon.

He played seven seasons in the NFL -- all as a New Orleans Saint. He started just one of those contests and has a career stat sheet that includes two fumble recoveries and 59 total tackles.

His cardboard resume is even smaller with just 11 cards -- 10 from the 2006 Topps Total set and one from a team-released set.

Colby Lewis flirted with throwing a no-hitter and the 24th perfect game in MLB history on Thursday in Oakland, but settled for a complete-game two-hit victory as his Texas Rangers beat the Athletics 5-1.

He struck out four in the game. The last gem was Kenny Rogers' perfect game back in 1994.

For collectors, and particularly Texas Rangers fans, an uptick in his play could be an interesting development as the 36-year-old right-hander has got very little cardboard.

The second series of the hobby's flagship baseball card set officially arrives on Wednesday, but that hasn't stopped retail hunters from tracking down some 2016 Topps Series 2 packs and tearing in.

First Pitch celebs are back and tribute sets for Ichiro Suzuki and Ken Griffey Jr. are included, but that's just the start for the product that includes one autograph or Relic per hobby box with one guaranteed in every jumbo. 

There will, of course, there will be short-printed variations and a selection of much-rarer photo variations. Among those? Yoenis Cespedes and one of his alternative modes of transportation back during spring training.
