The history books of professional wrestling are packed with stories about families that took part in the traveling caravan turned international spectacle -- a mere mention of names such as McMahon, Hart, Von Erich, Funk, Guerrero and so many more can mean so many names to those who know wrestling.

But there's one name -- Bevis -- that might become a household name in the future thanks to a feature film that's in the works and revealed this week from Seven Bucks Productions, which is a company helmed by Dwayne Johnson. He's a third-generation wrestling star you might know as The Rock and he's flexed plenty of muscle lately when it comes to entertainment ventures without ring ropes.

And who's Bevis? Thats Saraya-Jade Bevis, a WWE star from England who's known as Paige inside the ring and it's her story -- her family's story -- that's being developed into a movie. (Finally, we know what The Rock is cooking.)

A big weekend for the WWE to start a new year has spawned the biggest lineup of Topps Now WWE cards to start a new year on cardboard, too.

A total of 23 cards for NXT: Takeover San Antonio and the Royal Rumble events are now available as part of the 2017 Topps Now WWE lineup for 24 hours or until sold out in the case of Relics made for the line.

Including all Relics and parallels, Topps released just 55 Now WWE cards last year.

When Ronda Rousey enters the Octagon for UFC 207 on Friday night in Las Vegas it will have been one year, one month and 16 days since her career trajectory changed from unprecedented dominating badass with mainstream cameos everywhere to a rattled ex-champ with a 12-1-0 record.

Her cardboard is still arguably the hottest in the hobby -- at least based on asking prices -- but we all know it's not the same as it had been when the steamroller got shocked. A win against Amanda Nunes might get the gravy train rolling back to its super-marketed hype levels -- you know, something to justify all that super marketing that's been done in her return.

But ... what's next for her cardboard if she loses again?

Curiosity got me a second time.

When Pasadena, Calif.-based Loot Crate recently announced its wrestling version of a mystery box -- the WWE Slam Crate -- this fan decided to sign up and see what was to come.

The first crate arrived awhile back and the second arrived this week with fewer items -- but at least all of them were exclusives not found anywhere else.

The Topps Now cards for World Wrestling Entertainment took on a  new dimension on Monday with a limited number of match-used memorabilia cards from Sunday night's event available for just 24 hours.

The 2016 Topps Now WWE set is now over 55 cards for the year with two Relics and six standard cards as part of a lineup revealed for Roadblock.
