The Golden Girls coming to Funko Pop! universe later this year

Funko's line of vinyl Pop! figures has included plenty of surprises in the last few years as movie and television franchises have had memorable characters re-imagined as small, minimalist vinyl toys.

But the latest Funko Pop! figures slated for later this year? Well, they might have generational appeal.

blanche-golden-girls-funko-pop More than 20 years after their final episode, The Golden Girls -- Sophia Petrillo (Estelle Getty), Dorothy Zbornak (Bea Arthur), Rose Nylund (Betty White) and Blanche Devereaux (Rue McClanahan) -- will be among the Funko Pop! figures arriving in the fall.

For seven seasons -- 177 episodes -- the NBC comedy followed the lives of four roommates adjusting to living together in their golden years. The series has lived on in re-runs and on DVD, of course, helping inspire the figures that will carry a $9.99 suggested retail price when they hit stores.
