The Latvian Laser's NBA Rookie Cards appear just in one set

"The Latvian Laser" has been shooting things up on the court of late and there's one thing that matters right now with that.

Davis Bertans appears on just one Rookie Card.

That one comes from back in 2016-17 Panini Threads and it's got seven parallels and that's it for his standard NBA cardboard, though there is a very small sliver of stuff out there to collect. He's in his fourth NBA season and first with the Washington Wizards where he's averaging 15.8 points and 4.7 rebounds a game mostly coming off the bench. He spent the last three seasons with the San Antonio Spurs where his career-highs for a campaign included 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per last season.

His other card appearances are more obscure than limited. Bertans' only card so far this year -- a sticker -- is in the 2019-20 Panini NBA Sticker & Card Collection, while he had a Panini Instant card with two parallels last year and then two cards in the 2015-16 Upper Deck Turkish Airlines Euroleague set.

That's it.

Bertans has posted six 20-point games this month alone, including a 32-point, nine-rebound showing against the Hornets on Dec. 10. Meanwhile, eBay sales highlights include a $115 buy for his Instant 1/1 card and $45 for the only BGS 9.5 copy of his Threads RC -- but raw copies have moved from commons bins to about $5 among other sales. Asking prices are a smidge higher on those with some sellers offering RC lots, but parallels ... well, they just haven't surfaced on eBay at all in recent months.

You might need to go digging through your boxes to see if you have one stashed from the past ... there could be collectors looking for them.
