The National reveals all free VIP signers for this year's show

We now know who the free signers will be for those who pick up VIP admission ticket packages at this year's National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago.

The show organizers have revealed the 21 free signers for this year's show set for July 31-Aug 4 at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center, and it's a roster that includes a Heisman Trophy winner and three Hall of Famers as well as plenty of players with Chicago ties.

The Hall of Famers include 700-goal club member Marcel Dionne, Pro Football Hall of Famer Dave Wilcox and College Football Hall of Famer Chris Zurich, while 1967 Heisman winner Gary Beban also makes the list.

Other signers free for VIP ticket-holders with coupons for them or who attend the VIP party include Dallas Cowboys great Drew Pearson (VIP party), Chicago Bulls standouts Bill Cartwright (VIP party) and Bill Wennington, Atlanta Braves slugger Ryan Klesko (VIP party), Chicago Blackhawks Daniel Carrillo and Brent Sopel. Also on the list are former Kansas City Chiefs star Christian Okoye, 1985 Chicago Bear Kurt Becker and a few former MLB players.

That group includes Jack McDowell, Jim Perry, Gary Peters, Jim Lefebvre, Bob Hamelin, Cory Snyder, Ralph Garr, Dwight Smith and "Big Daddy" Rick Reuschel.

Collectors who buy SuperVIP packages get a ticket for all 18 signers, while VIPs get 12 of them randomly selected. More info on the show and tickets can be found here.
