The Sandlot baseball cards coming to 2018 Topps Archives

Remember kid, there's heroes and there's legends: Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.

And then they end up in 2018 Topps Archives.

The 25th Anniversary Collector Edition Blu-Ray of The Sandlot is in stores now and it has a set of Topps baseball cards inside with the nine starters from the iconic squad, but it also includes a bit of a scoop for the not-even-announced-yet product.

The scoop? There's even more to come ...

The Blu-Ray includes cards for the nine starters from the movie and a card for Hercules, who has a hunger for Babe Ruth-signed baseballs. There's no appearance from Denis Leary, Karen Allen or James Earl Jones who all had roles here -- no Wendy Peffercorn (Marley Shelton) card, either, but maybe they're all being held back for the 30th anniversary set?

Or maybe they'll arrive in Topps Archives?

The DVD set also comes with a booklet that will help re-visit the story once again with with behind-the-scenes photos which are billed as being from the director’s personal archive as well as a new poster -- they're all in the gallery below with the card set.

The card set includes Scotty Smalls, Alan 'Yeah-Yeah' McClennan, Kenny DeNunez, Tommy 'Repeat' Timmons, Hamilton 'Ham' Porter, Michael 'Squints' Palledorous, Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez, Bertram Grover Weeks and Timmy Timmons.
