This year's Panini VIP Party is coming & you can land it all (updated)

One of the biggest annual events in the hobby is coming soon -- and Blowout Cards is getting ready ... are you?

The full plans for the Panini VIP Party coinciding with this year's National Sports Collectors Convention will be officially revealed here sometime soon, but we're already getting some details of what will be up for grabs for those who are interested in getting in on the event.

And we can get you on The List.

Typically held during the Saturday night at the NSCC -- that would be July 30 this year in Atlantic City (a Panini NFT party is a Friday-night event) -- there are plenty of promo packs to be had and even more packs atop of that along with other autographs and memorabilia possible. Beyond that, there will be party guests that attendees can meet.

Here's the rundown of what should be included at the event -- but there still could be more to come:

-- Approximately 200 Panini Father's Day packs.
-- Approximately 100 Panini National Convention Silver Wrapper Redemption packs.
-- Approximately 140 Panini Gold VIP packs.
-- 1 Panini VIP Gems Box (formerly Black Box).
-- An assortment of autographs from TBD athletes in attendance (ink from every player is not guaranteed).
-- An assortment of Panini SWAG items (bags, box-cutters and so on).
-- A limited assortment of supplies for guests to use with their cards.
-- Catered buffet with open-bar service at the event.

Notes: All VIP Party guests must be at least 21 years old. If a VIP Party guest is under 21, but over age 18, Blowout will contact Panini on your behalf to receive prior approval for you to attend. Also, unaccompanied minors will not be permitted to attend. If a ticket holder is a minor, their parent or legal guardian must be a paid ticket-holder for them to attend. Lastly, the ticket package compensation (National Silver Packs, VIP Gold Packs, Autographs, VIP Boxes, Panini swag, etc.) is subject to change, elimination or alteration without notice.

Update (July 27): Panini has begun its reveal of guests at the party and the first is first-round draft pick Jabari Smith Jr., who was a star at Auburn and went third in this year's draft to the Houston Rockets. The second? NFL legend Emmitt Smith, who was revealed on Wednesday night. Revealed on Thursday? NBA great Artis Gilmore.
