Ticket Stud or Ticket Dud? You decide ... here's Chapter 23

With these Ticket Stud or Ticket Dud stories I'm turning just a tiny bit of that energy just a few degrees away from cards (we'll still have plenty of them here) for a different kind of cardboard. What am I doing? Simple ... this is an occasional dip into some random ticket lots -- a show and tell showing something small with a story.

This time? A player on the move who's showcased here -- and two early appearances for some young All-Stars.

What's Buzz-worthy: Buzz is having a busy week, so these spring training tickets that don't even have a face price attached help get me some quick items here on the site today. I found these among a small lot of Braves spring tickets from that year -- one that marked the first spring games for Ronald Acuña Jr. but he was not among these -- and Swanson tickets jumped out visually as he's on the move and now a member of the Cubs. Spring stats don't mean much when it comes to the record book so I didn't dwell much on the box scores this time, but I did spot Austin Riley in one game where he had an at-bat (March 16). I like that since he only played in five spring games that year. Devers here is a rookie, while Cabrera is a Hall of Fame lock and Freeman likely will be there, too. Not a bad decent batch of names for three meaningless games

Stud or Dud? Visually, these are studs if you ask me for Swanson ... but the rarer Riley appearance and Devers pre-rookie play here also help make this trio a stud. These spring tickets look a ton better than a lot of regular-season tickets out there, too.
