Some who ripped into Topps' recent Transcendent Party VIP packs found a bit more than they had expected.

They found stamped cards with identical serial-numbering in some cases -- multiple 1/1s of the same card, for example -- and Topps has issued a list noting what the actual production volumes are for the cards found inside the packs.

"Below is a list of the majority of cards that were given out with the actual print run associated with the cards," according to a statement from the company. "Several autographed cards that were inserted into the exclusive party packs at the 2017 Topps Transcendent Party were mislabeled as being 1/1s. Topps deeply apologizes for this error and is working at getting the proper information out to its valued collectors."
