Topps has a few surprises in store for collectors in 2020

Topps' annual Industry Conference is under way in Arizona right now and it has teased some things to come when it comes to cardboard this year.

Here's a notebook of what's been teased so far ...

Some of the new stuff on the way that hasn't yet been formally announced?

-- Stadium Club Chrome Update ... a Chromed version of the Club's set with 100 new cards. There will be 14 packs per box for $70 SRP with one on-card auto per box.

-- Allen & Ginter Chrome ... a hobby-only version of the retro-styled staple.

-- Topps Finest WWE will be on the way with two autos per box and on-card ink.

-- Fully Loaded WWE set will include Vince McMahon autos, an encased auto or auto-Relic in every $40 pack with table Relics, chair Relics, ladder Relics, turnbuckle Relics and even match-worn gear Relics in the mix.

-- Star Wars Holocron Chronicles will be a comprehensive look at the franchise with an auto per box and a low-end price.

-- The Mandalorian will get its own standalone card set with a hit in every box and source-fabric Relics in play.

-- Bowman Transcendent ... a super-deluxe release for prospectors that has a $15,000 starting price.

-- Bryce Harper will be the 2020 Topps Transcendent cornerstone player.

-- Topps will have a continuing NHL presence. (Currently stickers and Topps Now stickers.)

-- Soccer fans will have a new release called 2020 Topps MLS Back of the Net.

-- Topps has confirmed this from January: Jasson Dominguez ink will be in 2020 Bowman.
