Topps Now Future packs arrive for MLB award-winners

Topps Now is now in pack form for a second time this season -- with another predictive fantasy twist.

Topps revealed on Friday the second wave of packs for the Topps Now Future program. This time they will include cards for players who are contenders to be award-winners at season's end.

And if they do win, they will yield prizes.

Each five-card pack is $20 via Topps' site with each randomly inserted card having a prize noted on the back. The awards that will be predicted include MVP, Rookie of the Year and Cy Young in each league. There will be scratch-off codes on the backs of cards as the means to claim prizes at Topps.com/toppsnowfutureredeem after the awards are announced after this season.

According to Topps, the packs are available while supplies last and they will not be available in a second wave. Among the items up for grabs are rarer card sets and autographs for winners. They will include a 10-card Chrome Topps Now set highlighting that player's season with parallel versions limited to 199, 99, 49, 25, 10, five and one copy in that mix. Autographs will be on-card and numbered to 199, 99, 49, 25, 10, five and one copy with the odds of finding an auto-eligible card at one in every 6.7 packs.
