Topps releases 2016 flagship baseball cards as mini factory set

The 2016 Topps baseball card set has evolved once again -- and this time there are bonus cards.

Topps revealed its 2016 Topps Mini baseball set on Tuesday and it's an online-only offering that includes some extras that could spark added interest. These cards are the smaller format used for the release in recent years and tested back in 1975.

Initially only available on Topps.com for $99.99, this one will include 11 bonus parallel cards along with 10 extra cards using the 1975 Topps design atop the 700 standard cards.

The 10 bonus cards will include three rookies and some of MLB's top young stars. The checklist can be seen above.
