Tua Tagovailoa signs autograph deal with Panini America

Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa didn't finish his college career the way he planned, but he's got his first new team as a pro and was out working that new development on Friday with media appearances in advance of Super Bowl LIV in Miami.

He's signed for Panini America.

Full details aren't yet available -- we suspect we'll have them here soon -- but the news was teased by the company today.

The 2020 Panini Contenders Draft Picks design was teased as part of this reveal -- up top -- as well. That product has not yet been teased and might be the bigger announcement (for now) for collectors until we know if the deal is some type of exclusive ink deal going forward. Tagovailoa already previously signed autograph cards for at least two other companies since making his decision to enter the NFL Draft coming in late April.

In three seasons at Alabama, Tagovailoa threw for 7,442 yards and 87 touchdowns with just 11 picks, winning 22 of 24 games as a starter as well as a national championship. His TD mark is a school record and his yards are third-best in school history. His 33 TDs last season was the second-best mark in school history behind his 43 in 2018.
