Twin Peaks' return to cards comes next week via Rittenhouse

One of television's most-enigmatic series is coming back to cardboard next week packing plenty of star power for both its original run and its recent return.

It's Twin Peaks. 

Rittenhouse Archives is presenting this new set of 2018 Twin Peaks trading cards and it's one that packs more than 50 different standard autographed cards between the 1990 TV series and its 2017 counterpart alone.

Each box of this one includes two autographs atop a run of base cards and inserts -- unless of course, one opts for an Archive Box with everything (yes everything) inside. There's a 90-card base set for the original series (with parallels) along with a 54-card insert set (one in eight packs; three per box) for the new one, which you can see in its entirety in the gallery below.

Also in the mix will be Character cards (two per box -- also in gallery) for 42 personalities as well as Quotables, two rarer It's Happening Again inserts along with some other chase cards and case-incentives. There also will be a binder with a bonus card inside that goes along with a handful of promo cards released in advance of this one's arrival.

Among the notable signers in this one include Kyle MacLachlan, David Lynch, David Duchovny, Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Madchen Amick and Jim Belushi -- and there are a number of dual-auto cards that pair big names together along with cards only found as incentives for multi-case buyers or those who opt to rip into Archive Boxes.
