Upper Deck Authenticated adds 'Gangs of New York' to ongoing line of comic book & movie prints

Upper Deck Authenticated has added a new chapter in its ongoing line of comic book and movie gallery prints that showcase memorable stories and characters on a monthly basis.

Gangs of New York joins The Crow among the movie properties to appear on the prints, which are printed on premium paper and are individually hand numbered and also have variants. They are sold via the Upper Deck Store online. Among the Marvel Comics characters to have prints so far are Wolverine, Daredevil and The Avengers.

Prices for the prints do vary by release with the latest Gangs standard print limited to 250 serial-numbered copies at $59.99 and the variant limited to 100 copies at $99.99. Each of the variants has minor changes to the artwork.

The two movies are past Miramax releases -- the company that produced memorable movies like Clerks, Chasing Amy, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Trainspotting and Madonna: Truth or Dare -- while, ironically, each of the comic book offerings have also had their own movies in the past.
