Upper Deck readies promo card sets & more for The National

This year's National Sports Collectors Convention is just weeks away -- it's set for July 27-31 in Atlantic City, N.J. -- and Upper Deck has revealed its promotional plans for the event.

The company will produce a VIP Prominent Cuts set along with a wrapper redemption program as part of its lineup for the show.

The VIP set will be in all VIP ticket-holders' bags when they enter the show, while their wrapper redemptions will be Black Pack bonus packs for purchases from Certified Diamond Dealers at the show. (Full details in gallery below.) Seven hobby boxes will be eligible for a single pack at the show, while case purchases of seven releases will get 12 packs and one random autographed card.

Each day there also will be a raffle for collectors each day as well as a breaking lounge available and a free box break on Friday of the show along with some special announcements. UDA's Monumental boxed-memorabilia release also will be back for this on (while they last).

Do you know if you just need an 8 Box case of Goodwin or SP Authentic or if you need a full 16 Box Case? Same with Premier, 5 box or 10 box case?
