Vladimir Guerrero Jr. teams up with Topps for new release

The latest Topps x card set arrived this week with the most-hyped rookie of the year at its start taking the cardboard field for this one.

The 2019 Topps x Vlad Jr. set is here with two versions -- a standard set for $24.99 and a Collector's Edition set that includes a guaranteed hit for $75. They are available via Topps.com for 20 days or while supplies last in the case of the CE version.

The set is 40 cards and a CE box will also include an autograph or Relic as one parallel card with three versions -- unnumbered, /10 and 1/1. The basic set does not include any extras. Most sets will include an autograph, but the odds on a Guerrero jersey Relic are roughly one in five boxes.

The odds of landing an on-card Guerrero auto is one six but there is a second auto for him (sticker) as well as other signers in the product. Among them? Mike Trout, Vlad Sr., Ken Griffey Jr., Joc Pederson, Chris Paddack, Yoenis Cespedes and several others.

The base set is comprised of four 10-card subsets -- Rookie Campaign, Senior and Junior, Home Run Derby All-Time Moments and Friends/Favorites. The Senior portion includes appearances from Griffey Jr. Fernando Tatis Jr. and Cavan Biggio, while the Derby adds some star power, too.
