This probably looks like many other NBA game programs from the late 1970s and early 1980s but it's very different than other simple pieces of memorabilia picked up at a game from the past.
It's from a Washington Bullets game -- the cover showcases the visiting team in this case -- played on Oct. 26, 1984, and it's on the block now via Steiner Auctions.
Why?
This game marked the NBA debut of Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan -- the greatest to play the game -- and it was a 16-point night in a 109-93 victory for his team.
The program is even dated by its previous owner, a team statistician, and carries a hefty price tag despite its being listed in "VG/EX" condition by Steiner.
It opens at $1,000 and that's where it sits with about eight days remaining in the auction at this time.
