World Cup champions get new Panini Instant soccer cards

The World Cup-winning team and its highlights have new cardboard ... Instantly.

The U.S. Women's National Soccer Team is the subject of new Panini Instant cards -- both a new championship set and a standalone cards, too.

They'll all be printed to order after one week after the ordering window closes, while the a number of the autographed cards made available via Panini America are already sold out.

A basic version of a 36-card championship set is $29.99, while a Green parallel set limited to only 10 copies is $499.99 via Panini's site. A Black 1/1 parallel of the set already sold for $1,999.99 earlier today. A full checklist for this release was not revealed.

Meanwhile single cards are available as standalones, each with parallels and already-gone autographs. They include Megan Rapinoe in her celebratory pose, Tobin Heath and Alex Morgan, a card of Rapinoe and Morgan together as well as other members of the team. The autographed 1/1s for those top names sold out at $249.99 apiece, while the duals sold out at $249.99 for the Blue (/5) and $399.99 for the 1/1 version.
