A highly regarded Light Heavyweight and considered to be one of the UFC's most heralded up-and-coming young fighters, Jon "Bones" Jones currently boasts a career MMA record of 12-1.
UFC president Dana White confirmed that Jones will face undefeated Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader, on February 5, 2011 at UFC 126. Jones went on to hand Bader his first professional loss by defeating him via tapout due to a guillotine choke. Jones was awarded the "Submission of the Night" bonus.

Jones was then told in his post-fight interview that the UFC wanted him to replace Evans in a fight against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. Jones accepted and the fight is set for UFC 128. If he wins, Jon Jones will becoming the youngest champion in UFC history.
UFC 128: Shogun vs. Jones will take place on March 19, 2011 from Newark, New Jersey.
