THE BIG KAHUNA
The Item: LeBron James 2003-04 Exquisite Collection rookie patch autograph /23 (BGS 9.5/10)
The Price: $800,000 after 21 bids (three weeks remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: The current Goldin Auctions sale includes a number of legendary pieces for Michael Jordan up for grabs, but right now it's a different No. 23 who might be re-writing the record books for some NBA cardboard soon and could become a million-dollar sports card. Early bidding action makes that something in the realm of possibility so far on this LeBron James piece. There were only 23 RPAs made and signed in this landmark release.
Keep reading for a deeper look at four more of items up for grabs in their current auction.
ALL RISE!
The Item: Aaron Judge 2013 Bowman Chrome Draft Superfractor Autograph 1/1 (BGS 9.5/10)
The Price: $56,000 after nine bids (three weeks remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: Not that long ago, this would have been the hottest card in the hobby but as it stands now it's merely the best card in existence for this New York Yankees slugger who hit a then-rookie-record 52 homers in 2017. He's hit 54 in the two seasons since and could capture plenty of attention once the Yankees return and with a hot arrival. No matter what the time or performance, it's a key card up for grabs right now.

A KEY PIECE
The Item: Patrick Mahomes game-used Kansas City Chiefs jersey -- worn for 23-3 win on Dec. 15, 2019, over the Denver Broncos
The Price: $26,000 after 23 bids (three weeks remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: A home jersey of the NFL MVP in a down-the-stretch victory over a divisional rival during a season that ended with his first Super Bowl win? There aren't a lot of pieces that can top this -- and I'd bet most never become available on the market -- and it's been photo-matched to the game, too, due to unique stains and markings as well as locations of mesh vents in relation to patches. (Hit that link to see all of the details and some closer looks.) Prices on items like these also might not be as strong right now compared to where they might be once they finally take the field ... so this could end up being a bargain even with a hefty price tag already attached.

REEL BIG FISH
The Item: Mike Trout 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft Prospects Orange Refractor autograph (/25) (PSA 10)
The Price: $160,000 after 10 bids (three weeks remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: A Red Refractor of this card (/5) sold for more than $900,000 via Goldin, so there's no doubt that this color will have plenty of eyeballs on it, too. How high will it go? Well, it's the only PSA 10 version of this card ... so there are no other options. (The other two checked in at PSA 9.) Only two items in the entire auction right now have higher prices -- the James that's leading off here and a Michael Jordan Bulls game-used jersey from 1997-98 (that's $220,000 at the moment).

THREE OF A KIND ...
The Item: LeBron James, Kevin Durant & Kevin Garnett 2009-10 Exquisite Collection All-NBA Access Triple Logoman 1/1
The Price: $28,000 after five bids (three weeks remaining)
Why it’s Buzz-worthy: There are a number of key cards from this brand that are up for grabs in the current auction -- some with much-heftier prices so far -- but this one carries perhaps the best trio of patch pieces to be seen in all of cardboard. (What beats three Logoman patches? Well, four ... but that's about it.) It also doesn't hurt that this one features a lineup of three future Hall of Famers (one already there).

I’m looking at selling my bgs graded Luka Doncic National treasures rpa/99 vertical. I haven’t used Goldin before but it seems like a good/safe way to sell high end cards.I will be in touch with them.
