Box basics: Five cards per Black Diamond pack along with one Exquisite pack per box (five boxes per case)

What's buzz-worthy: Black Diamond is back once again as a high-end brand with just five cards per pack with a one-card Exquisite pack inside each box as well. Exquisite will be released within other brands throughout the 2016-17 season.

The Basics: Among the highlights here are Diamond Relic cards that have between one to four diamonds inside the card. They'll be limited to 99 copies. Also in the mix will be veterans with diamonds (/5) as well as a Flashback Quad Diamond Rookie Relic for Mario Lemieux limited to only 66. Pure Black Diamond cards will be 1/1s. There will be one diamond card per case. ... Among the cards found here will include Rookie Gems, Signature Rookie Materials, Rookie Booklet Relics, Championship Rings, Team Logo Jumbos and Run For The Cup along with the newest members of the 2016-17 rookie class. ... The base set will consist of 50 cards, while the Exquisite lineup will include base cards, rookies and memorabilia cards with each having parallels, some as rare as one copy.
