The 2015 Topps Heritage '51 baseball card set is a newcomer to the Heritage lineup and it's a brand with its non-traditional gaming-style backs that, admittedly, might not appeal to everyone.
But it's those card backs -- at least on the mini parallels -- that might make those sets a bit more appealing to those considering opening a set for breaking and resale.
The basic set includes 104 cards and one certified autograph from a relatively small lineup of young signers we previously mentioned and checklisted here. The autographs have parallels, too, but the fact that every set also includes one Gold, two Black, three Green, five Blue and 10 Red mini parallels is the potential difference for flippers.
Sure, every base set has the likes of Kris Bryant, Carlos Correa, Mike Trout, Bryce Harper and plenty of other names, but if you get the right player on a rarer mini? Well, that will make your autograph hunt of the Trouts and Bryants of the world just got that much cheaper.
Gold cards of Bryant, Harper and Trout have regularly sold for $30 or more on eBay with some auctions topping $40. For other shades and other players, they can routinely fetch $10-20, while lots (and sets) of the easier minis have been getting sellers some decent money back, too. Those aren't quite fetching set prices, but it's enough to take some of the sting off if their autographs weren't some of the better ones.

The autographed cards look great. I'm sure plenty of people will be busting just for the autos, so that leaves a lot of opened factory sets on the secondary market. I'll probably pick one up at some point.
