Topps' National VIP promo cards will take collectors back to 1987

Collectors who opt for the VIP pass to enter this year's National Sports Collectors Convention will, at least one way, feel like it's 1987 all over again.

That's because of Topps' promo cards.

The company revealed its NSCC VIP promos on Monday and it's a five-card set of cards inspired by the 1987 Topps design. The wood-bordered cards will include Johnny Bench, Cal Ripken Jr., Ken Griffey Jr., Nolan Ryan and Ted Williams.

Each $129 VIP package will include one of these sets (and more), while SuperVIPs ($189) will get two sets (and more). You can learn more about NSCC packages here.
