Curiosity got me a second time.
When Pasadena, Calif.-based Loot Crate recently announced its wrestling version of a mystery box -- the WWE Slam Crate -- this fan decided to sign up and see what was to come.
The first crate arrived awhile back and the second arrived this week with fewer items -- but at least all of them were exclusives not found anywhere else.
What did it include? Keep reading ...
For $29.99, a fan got five items inside this crate -- a mix of collectibles, usable everyday items and other knickknacks all with a WWE theme.
The main wearable item is an A.J. Styles shirt that he wore on Nov. 15 that you can see above. It's not the flashiest design, but, hey, at least it doesn't come with the soccer mom haircut.
The rest of the items? Check them out in the gallery below and then see how Buzz graded this one.
The Bottom Line: Overall, crate is another B-minus -- just like the first. I still feel like it needed a little more from the WWE's women's division (Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks has been one of the best feuds of the last six months nothing for either of them in either crate) and some other type of photos/items that are more like collectibles/cards. There was nothing card-like this time, but the Jada Metals figure -- an all-metal cartoon-style figure -- was a plus for a collector. It's the best item -- and maybe the best in the first two crates -- but it probably would have been more interesting to get a re-paint of any of the others in the line before Cena. The others include Finn Balor, Paige, Brock Lesnar and Triple H. The Bayley Bear also is slightly more collector-minded but not as strong since it's not part of an ongoing product line like the Metals figure. Will Buzz lock in on the third box? Probably ... since we have yet to see a Funko Pop! WWE exclusive yet. With the third box's theme being "Road to WrestleMania" business could be picking up. After that, it will be decision time as to subscribe once again.

- This 4-inch WWE Jada Metals figure of John Cena carries an exclusive paint job unlike the version you’ll find at retail. This new line could become popular as they are pretty high quality. Only drawback? The inside of this one’s window package was a tad dirty of Buzz opted to open it, carefully removing all the seals on the top. Tip? Only open the bottom panel.
- A Bayley Bear. The WWE’s resident hugger and babyface on the women’s side is definitely selling to tweens and this piece goes younger. The 5-inch teddy bear was promoted on the Dec. 5 episode of Raw.
- To keep with the low-color fashions, here’s a Daniel Bryan beanie winter cap. Not really feeling it — we all know Bryan would be more likely to wear plaid.
- An Intercontinental Championship pin. The 1980s design is a classic and this adds to the run started with the first box.
